    Flickring

    travors:
Just didn’t get this movie the first time I saw it. The second time I saw it it blew me away. It all just snapped into place. Amazing.
The shadow from the wall sconce in this poster is a perfect cocksimile, isn’t it? Robert Surtees’ cinematography is pretty mindblowing throughout this film, as of course is Buck Henry’s unforgettable script. And I love the way they always dress Mrs. Robinson in animal prints. Incredibly, she was only 6 yrs older than Hoffman, and yet she’ll forever be seen as the proto-cougar.
